Instruction:

  • Download and open KingRoot For PC if you already have it installed
  • Alternatively, you can download KingRoot apk version for Android Smartphones.
  • Try gaining root via the PC version, if that does not work, revert to using the apk version.
  • To install apk version on your Android Moto X device without the use of File Manager;
  • Follow this link on your Moto X browser: https://kingroot.en.uptodown.com/android/download
  • Download the apk file, monitor when the download finally completes and click open.
  • Enable unknown sources and go back to browser, since there is no File Manager in Moto X Android 5.1.1, you will have to visit the same link above again, then click download , then, ok, you will be asked to Replace or download a copy,
  • Choose Replace, monitor when the download finishes, once it pops up, click open and proceed to install the APK version on your Moto X XT1058.
  • Now connect the device to WI-FI, and open KingRoot application on your moto x device.
  • Click Try Root, wait for the information on successful root.
  • Now that you have gained root on your Android device, Proceed to unlock with Sigma Box.

To Unlock Moto X Using Sigma Box:

Connect your rooted Android Moto X device to PC

On Sigma Box Software Platform, choose Android ADB.

Make sure usb debugging is enabled on your phone

On Serial Port interface, choose adb interface and click Direct Unlock
